Has this happened to anyone else?
What did you do about it?

I've never seen that before. Is that an aftermarket top? I don't see any defrost wires.

I'm sure it is because it's a 2000.
I barely had the car a month and it seems everytime I ride droptop i get the cowlick when the top goes back up

You might want to look into that more.

The MY2000 had a plastic rear window not glass so your frame is designed differently. You need to make sure there are straps folding to top properly before it busts that glass window. That is not an OEM top.
