Default Dam! Honda is expensive!

$700 for Front Rotors/Pads/Labor

I am going to go ahead and buy new Rotors & Pads today online. I am buying Slotted PowerSlot Rotors and pads... well I don't know.

Where can I get them installed with out paying an ARM and a leg for it.

In your driveway? With some simple tools that you can buy from Sears, you can save some money. Although, I kinda hate when people say that... I guess not everyone is mechanically inclined... but if you think that you might like to tackle this job yourself, you can save a good deal of money I would imagine, even if you had to buy the tools. And then you can save even more money on future brake jobs. Of course I still have not really answered your question... sorry

I was a tech for 4 yrs actually... just kinda lazy lol...

Reason?

1) Moved to AZ with out tools, not willing to buy shit I have back in Boston AGAIN.
2) With my type of work now adays and how tired I get I rather just have some one do it.
3) Buying another tq wrench is a pain and expensive.
4) Bleeding the brake system is going to be a PITA and don't tell me to compress the calipers with bleeding screws closed, I LIKE MY ABS unit .

Pay an arm and a leg to get your local Honda dealer to do it if you don't want to do it yourself. Or post in your local forum about a local tech that can do the job for the price you'd pay.

If you are only changing the pads and the rotors, its actually quite easy. Just a couple bolts and screws. Check this thread: https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=108435

damn what a rip off, honda wants $100 for the plastic fenderliner on the drivers side and another $25 for the clips to hold it in.

Are your rotors shot already? How many miles do you have?

diy!~ i know that half the people, if not more, who own s2k's have no auto mechanic knowledge, but this is one of the easier jobs! i've done two s2k's so far and it only takes me about half an hour to an hour or so after i get all the wheels off.

Good thing it's a Honda, you'd hate paying for BMW or Porsche parts.....
