I do oil changes my self, but when it comes to legit shit like brakes I don't see my self spending money on tools AGAIN. Then some thing strips out and my car is sitting there on jack stands and now I can't put it back together because of that.

No I don't actually have friends that I can just simply roll up to or call and be like "I am changing my brakes at your place." They all live in apartments or condos.
