Default dash lights out...

Anyone else experience the top half of the indicators around the climate control knob not lighting up? Recently mine have stopped. I give my dash a smack and they come back on.

I am guessing loose connection. Any ideas how to get behind that panel?

Thanks!

Sounds like you have a bulb on the fritz. Probably not a loose connection, because the wiring harness snaps into the back of the climate control. There is one tiny bulb that illuminates that entire circle or symbols you're talking about.

There is no "simple" way to get to the bulb, but it is possible to do by yourself with some standard tools. You can follow the instructions in the link below for removing the audio control, which is pretty much the same procedure. The tools you need are listed in the instructions as well.

Good luck!
