Dated Interior
I love the S2000 interior. I love the fact that the almost ten year old basic design still looks good and contemporary. Show me another decade old car that hasn't been totally revamped and I'll show you a car that looks dated. The S2000 is timeless, interior and exterior. Those same people who call it dated would probably love it if the exact same design just came out today. There is no need to overhaul a good design every five years, even if car magazines thinks there is. The only car that comes to mind for being as timeless to me is the 911, and in that case I'm only talking about the exterior. Their ten year old interiors definitely look dated.
Ive seen some bashing on the s2000 digital cluster. Honestly that was one of the reasons why i love the interior so much. While i do miss having needles every now and then, i think the digital cluster is amazing. 1 because no other car has it, and 2 it just makes the cockpit stand out so much more.

The S has one of the best interiors period. Everything (radio/mute/AC/cruise controls etc) are no more than a hands distance from the steering wheel.
The digital dash is clean, elegant, and easily understandable at a glance-which is the whole purpose of a gauge.
I had an top of the line RX-8 with two tone interior without the ghey colored steering wheel. I think that's a dealer installed option. I really liked the interior except for the ridiculous e-brake handle and the cheap feeling hard plastic. The cup holder was awesome for keeping things like Chap-stik nice n ewwy gooey hot.
The Roles Royce interior is IMHO WAY over done. I couldnt handle an interior like that it would drive me crazy. Also for the price your gonna pay for the car i think it looks absolutly rediculious
