So the only AP2 that doesn't have DBW is 04' and 05'? I thought it was just 04 that didn't have the DBW.

My friend owns a 2006 AP2 and I don't think I've ever noticed any type of lag.... lol I drive a Turbo car so maybe I'm just used to minor lag. haha

 

ive never driven a cable s2k but i dont see a lag at all

all my other cars were cable and seems the same

 

My Father In-Law has a 04 and I have an 06. I cannot tell that there is any difference.

 

I was wondering about this. i have an ap2 with dbw and when i try to accelerate at full power i shift up right before 8k and shift into the next gear in vtec but i feels like there is a hesitation of about 1/2 a sec before full power comes on. i thought it might be vsa, but it does it even with vsa off. i used to have an ap1 and never experienced this. I doubt there is a mech problem bc the car is an 06 with 20k mi. Could this be caused by the dbw system?
