There are always 3 sides to an arguement: the 2 sides we hear and the correct side we never hear. I doubt there will ever be a proper answer to this one

I can see a ton of possible faults: the seller, the buyer, the parents, the brother, the landlord, the shipping company - the simple matter is everyone is just as guilty based on the information at hand.

If it is simply a matter of filing some claim paper work at this point, do it! Quit griping about this transaction on here.

I have spent thousands with them as well. I have always got things on time and sometimes before I expected them which IMO is above and beyond the call of duty. You guys know me. I hate waiting for things. Yes I insure my items but in this case it sounds to me someone may have walked off with your items. I mean lets be honest if you have a box at your door marked with Spoon all over it you know damn well theives come out and play. Its happened to me before.
Ben and Dickson are good guys and will handle this.

from what i understand and know "aj" was jus used to ship the item out. in no way did "AJ-R" have anything to do with this buisness wise. im sorry that this has happened and hope the issue can be resolved.

Marcus - he changed the thread title

I've had personal dealings with AJR and Dickson - all excellent - I'm sure Dickson has/will live up to his end. I hope this comes to an end soon though. I'm not sure what kind of good this thread is going to do, there are too many variables based on what has been presented to see any kind of online judgement made.

People: UPS has already accepted responsibility, its their fault!!

the problem is, the seller is reluctant to fill out the paper work with UPS.

I made a deal with him to give me a product in tact my money wasn't broken or lost in the transaction. So why should I suffer for him not getting me what I payed for in one piece? Insurance is for the sender as UPS states which is in all essense of the word a business that is why I cannot handle the claim the seller has to do that. I payed for him to give me the product but due to distance he chose to have someone give it to me in his place. Believe me I've consulted a pretty good small business lawyer and this was what came out of his mouth so for future references to those who sell items online, you may want to check into what i'm saying also paypal abides by these rules as well. Also I checked how much shipping would be 103.00 would cover insurance for the package and shipment. hmmmmmmmmm
Why should anyone suffer, if it UPS' fault?

You can consult as many lawyers as you want, fact is you were dealing with a person, not a small business. If you ever decided to sue, depending on your state laws, this will probably go into civil court as a small claims case.

Don't assume anything, if you didn't ask for insurance, then you didn't get insurance. Its optional and your responsibility to request it, not the seller's to add it for you.

This case and the Leo Gets/s2kmugen one are examples of what happens when the seller doesn't request insurance. Lesson - Ask for insurance!

I did not see any insurance information for items being shipped on there website? This is one of those things most buyers don't know about, or assume it's already taken care of in the shipping fee. I know it's not AJR's fault but they need to clearly state this on there website under their policy section. I hope you guys come to a resolution.

they also should cover their butts by not letting employees or people to use their account for personal sales, because these people are linked to AJ-R which will bring them down too.
