today i drove over to pep boys to buy some oil, and the alarm wouldn't engage. tried turning the car on 'n off, opening 'n shutting the doors, etc. didn't work. i remember i did shove something under the seat pretty hard earlier...could i have knocked something loose? i also noticed something weird (i think) - with the drivers door open, i can't lock the door manually from the inside...is it supposed to be like that?

I had the same prob once,someone on this board told me to pull the fuse out for the alarm and put it back in.....it worked! I was shocked as well, try it cant hurt.

 

where is it? don't see it in the engine bay fuse box...
