When my axle was repaired my mech broke the ABS sensor but he was nice enough to order me a new one for no charge and put it on, I just had to drive around for a couple days with no ABS sensor. This, however, as you might have guessed was not a dealer, but a mech who has worked on several of my family's cars.

Minimum you shouldnt be paying any labor since they had to remove it for the tsb. Maximum you should not be paying any since they cant perform the tsb. I think honda (not the dealer) should cover it if it truely wont come out.

If you're not willing to negotiate, then you pull out your wallet and pay the bill. Your service writer is not looking for your friendship, just your money, hondacare on the other hand has other priorities, sometimes that includes keeping the customer base happy. Good Luck finding a happy resolution.

Ya those ABS sensors do tend to stick into the knuckle. When my suspension was replaced(wreck), the sensor wouldn't come out easily, but it wasn't a big deal since it was damaged from wreck & being replaced anyway. FYI I think those cost ~$120

well they covered the sensor, but now I wont have my car done till monday. i have an exam monday so i HAVE to rent a car. I can't rent a car on Sunday so now I have to get one at noon Saturday. Pay for Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday. What a freakin mess. So that makes this retorqueing cost about $500.
