Default Dealership called and....

So the Dealership called me today, and said they have someone trading in a 05 S2000. First I really want a Ap1, but this Dealership is one of the only places I can get a s2000. So im debating, it is 05 like I said has 50,000 miles NFR. They are asking 20k for it. I personally think that is a bit steep, but I can't just demand them to lower it. So do any of you guys have any suggestions on them lowering it? I am hoping for 18,500?

Keep looking, plenty of better deals out there even at $18.5k.

Don't be afraid to travel for your used S2000. I'd personally fly out and buy one off a well-reputed s2ki.com member before buying one from a dealership + $$$.

Way to high keep looking there are lots on cars.com for cheap. I whised i knew about that site a long time ago. They have used evo for $15k with around 50,000-90,000 miles and lost of all kinds of good used cars trust me its wroth a plane ticket or a long drive to save some money

Definitely find much better deals than that. If your looking for an AP1, even better as you can probably get a low mileage one for 14-15k. I would probably keep looking for the one you really want.

Definitely seems high. I just flew out to Florida and drove home my new 2006 with 22k miles for $20.5k private-sale with a bunch of dealer add-ons and in mint condition. Granted, the KBB value of a 2005 S2000 (in my neck of the woods) @ 50k miles is $20,500 but that's in mint condition. Clean Retail on www.NADA.com is $17,925 (again, in my zipcode). Somewhere in that range would work if you can argue that with the sales reps.
