I waited 3 months before buying mine..., I knew what I wanted and waited till I found just that. Didn't mind paying a bit more to get what I wanted either.

Man, that does seem pretty high. I flew from Orlando, FL to Jackson, MS to pick up my 06 w/30k miles. Couldn't find what I wanted for a while so I expanded my search. I got mine for 19,500 used certified with extended bumper to bumper warranty, so yes, you can get a MUCH better deal than that.

I'd tell the dealer to try harder.

What I did is I went and got a good Blue book value on the car, found some dealers around with a lower cost than what they are asking and printed it. I intend on taking it in there and seeing if I can get them to lower the price( I want this dealership cause its a good preowned honda dealership with a bumper to bumper)

My s2k was aprox 12k US, 01 silverstone with 44k on it, new roof... It came from 1994miles away.

Dont be afraid to look in other cities. The usa is a big place, ALOT of s2000s out there...one of them will be perfect for you.

Look up the blackbook value on an 05 s2000 (thats probbly all they are giving the guy that is trading it in).... and compare that to the 20k asking price the dealership wants to sell it you for. You should see a massive profit margin.
