I like dlq04's idea. Especially the disciplinary actions. I mean, you don't need a video tape of him being paddled over a desk, but you should request that you need to be assured that his lying has caused you more pain and suffering regarding this issue than a slap on the hand from AHM.

If all else fails, I hate to agree with you - but you just got shafted by the shop(s) and can't take it anymore. I'd look for a used Boxster S somewhere if you have to. The TT's are fun - conv/quattro - test drove one the other day, and its a fun car, but not as lightweight as the Porche and S2000.

I remember the pictures of your hood (unbelievable) and by God Honda would fix the hood first. I would not be able to walk away until I had justice and everyone's head on a platter that stood in my way and denied the obvious.

Seems to me that as long as an owner deals as an individual with AHM he is at the mercy of the customer service rep he/she ends up with. Some are OK, some are not.

In cases where an owner is getting run over by his bad luck draw of a customer service rep, a politelydrafted letter by which many S2000 owners express their concern for how AHM is handling the problem may have some more weight.

If Dorian were to e mail pictures of the offending bumper to each board member who wants to join in a letter writing campaign, then each member can print the picture include it with the letter of support.

Just a thought.

Good luck Dorian.

I can understand your frustration Dorian - I had a similar experience with Chevrolet, and by God I will never buy another GM car again

If you really love your S2000, take the other board member's advice and try again to see what you can do with thes wretched people (I know you've already tried a lot).
But then again, I don't blame you if you're just plain fed up and ready to trade. I just hope you don't get a Boxster or TT and regret not having the S2000 anymore.

Good luck, and keep us posted.

If you are looking for better build quality in a Boxster I would look elsewhere. My friend has a 2001 Boxster that was falling apart at 1500 miles and the dealer is still treating him like complete shit. He had door dings from the dealer lot, they put the wrong wheels on his car and it took a month to switch them out and now 2 months later he still doesn't have his hardtop as promised. His license plate lamps are falling out of his rear bumber too. I for one am damn glad I bought a Honda that cost less and runs faster than his overpriced Boxster.

holy crap!

motorhead thats some nice hardware your packin! wow wish we could all solve issues at the dealership the good old fashioned ass kickin way. which reminds me, anyone ever hear of the shooting death at the Scott Robinson Honda dealer down in torrance? turns this chick that was working there was banging three guys at the same time and the boyfriend found out and went down there and blew her away and them killed himself. happened like a year or so ago.
