You should talk to some of the HouStooks. There should be a GTG this weekend that you can meet them. Check in the Clubs section, central north america.

I'm still waiting to hear a sound clip of a stock exhaust with no resonators...

I just ordered my Spugen Dual Oval and am awaiting shipment. Should be here next tuesday.

I have had my modified (resonator tank removed) HKS Hi-power duals for almost three weeks and it is the best of all worlds to me. DEEP sound, low drone between 3-5k and it opens up nice in vtec. Plus I have been told it helps with the subsequent HP loss to remove that/any resonator.

With my intake, the whole package just screams seriousness when you get on the engine a bit.

I vote HKS Hi-pwer duals. I would not do invidia if you want to keep her sounding remotely close to stock. Those are mean loud (but fun) pipes right there, especially with the silencers out.

My $.02

I wanted a deeper louder exhaust note too and found what I was looking for ($300 out the door price)... I eventually bought Magnaflow mufflers... pics and more info contained in the link. Hope this proves interesting to you...
Good luck and happy motoring...

You should give this some thought. This is exactly what I'm doing as well.
Good job Tron

My vote would be for Comptech. Very nice, deep sound, not much louder than stock, and looks fantastic.

Comptech is nice, but I feel that they are over priced and don't add much. They are supposed to be the Acura/Honda experts, but I've seen many others make far better stuff.

I'd get the Fujitsubo over the Comptech any day. It costs less, sounds good, adds a few horsepower, is high quality and looks pretty good. Of course, the Mugen and Amuse are also top knotch!

Thanks Sebringer.... I got exactly what I wanted... after looking at several exhuast systems I found a very deep, rich sound in the Magnaflows...no fuss, no muss, and I saved $100's... (actually I was going to pay whatever it took... )

The only thing I'd give the Fujitsubo over the Comptech is the cost. The Comptech looks better IMO, sounds almost the same, adds just as much HP (they each add a wopping 3HP) and is very high quality...

In all honesty, the only reason for chosing the Fujitsubo over the Comptech would be cost...
