The only dealership in the U.S. that has ordered (or allocated) a CR w/o AC at this time:
Florida: Kuhn Honda - Tampa - Black/Yellow - (813)872.4841
No other dealership in the U.S. has one on order.
No dealership in the U.S. has one on the ground.

I was curious to see if the lightest weight model was strictly magazine fodder. I doubt too many will exist in the real world.
Not sure if this was mentioned before, but the Japanese spec Type S still has the convertible top. I guess it doesnt have the rear body reinforcements of the US spec, and will be on the heavier side as well. Cant read all the Japanese specs but do you guys think the US CR version will outperform the J-spec Type S version? Check out these honda links. The Type S in the Silverstone color looks awesome.

There's just a blank cover in the soft top activitation button hole. Spoken like a true engineer huh?? I got to drive the car some more today and I really like this car. I am a big guy and this baby is a PIA to get into and out of on a routine basis. But once you're there, it's all love!!
If the CR is worse... why?
Thanks. :-)
I apologize if you think I was criticizing the S2000, I wasn't. I absolutely love it!!! This is my first S2000 and it is a lot more awkward for a 6'-1" 240 lb guy to get in and out. There is just no graceful way to do it?? I feel like I have to put my butte on the seat, then scrunch up in a ball, and turn into the car. I don't think it is any different than the 07 S2000 I test drove. The exception being when the top is down/ off.
I am not sure I would want the CR for a daily driver. The suspension is significantly stiffer. I ended up with most of a bottle of water in my lap going over a medium size bump. It is a kidney buster. The upside is this car handles like a go kart. Very nimble and straight on your line. Small corrections are very easy. The car really builds your confidence.
I am sure this car was built for young guys like the group here, not an old fart that is used to his 993 that has tons of interior room. Even the 914 is easier to get into and out of. With all three cars side by side, there isn't much difference. I am not sure what the difference is??
Hope this helps.

Should we start a thread with a master VIN / production number list for the CR? I'll start with the ones I've seen on ebay so far.
This way we can see what the color breakdown is. If it is no A/C-radio add it in ().
#0022 yellow [S2ki member!]
#0026 yellow
#0044 black
#0084 black
#0088 blue
#0186 black
#0187 black

The S2000 has too much body roll in comparison.
