Aren't these the CR wheels?

They've been offered JDM since the AP1?

Boy, Honda changed nothing, did they?

I just wanted to let the world know that the S2000 CR sucks. Even lame Mazda knows that if you're going to come out with a Mazda Speed, it needs more hp.

Didn't read the entire thread so forgive me if these photos have already been posted:

I can't put my finger on why yet, but I kinda like it.

My favorite is the continuous arc on the dash. It looks so much more smoothly put together.

I agree with stedge. There is absolutely NOTHING on this car that makes it a "club racer." I don't know of a single track where you would even be allowed out in a CR in stock trim. As others have said, things that would make it a club racer:
- roll bar!!!
- harness bar
- seats that accept harnesses
- place to mount fire extinguisher

In other words, you have to invest a significant amount of time and money on aftermarket seats and a roll bar with a harness bar to even make it legal on road courses. The only place you could race a club racer from the dealership is a 1/4 mile drag strip. This is just a lame effort from Honda to go out with a bang. Unfortunately, because of the CR, the S2000 is going out with a...THUD!

I agree with the above post. I almost think Honda would have been better off adding more luxury features to the car than making it a fake track car. The luxuty features would appeal to more people than this stripped down model.

It's just two freakin letters. Club Racing is: track days, autocrosses etc. You don't have to have a roll bar, fire extinguisher, harnesses and a stripped interior to do club races.

If you really want an S2000 race car Honda will NEVER make it available from the dealer. Even simple things like 4 point harnesses would require a huge amount of government testing and certification.
