I think this will be the last little change before ending the car... similar to the last year RSX-S with a little more horsepower and changed facia and wheels. I of course could be completely wrong but I can't see anything drastic.

What I'm hoping for is a small but substantial boost in power NA that can be retrofitted cheaply to AP2's and maybe even AP1's. I'm not banking on anything but it's fun to hope.

Looking forward to this release...

Hope Honda doesn't let us down... Probably have the new A-VTEC engine in it I'd guess...

BTW, I'm a paying member...

Not a AVTEC, but if you like your steaks bloody and raw, then you might like this car.

People who uses A-1 Steak Sauce will not like this car.

I'm out for the weekend.

BC, I think track tuned might make for a rougher ride. Would that increase or decrease back stress?

Hmmmm, very interesting... Sounds like it may be right up my alley then... That's why I prefer the AP1 anyways... I say keep the luxuries in the Acuras...

Track tuned might make the rebound rates on the car faster, thus putting slight pressure on the lower back. It might even make you SLIP and SLIDE on hard turns, unless we get some "track" tuned seats? I always loved the Integra Type-R and its black and red stitchings. The Integra type R's was one hell of a seat. So much for leather.

You should of been to the Torrance meet yesterday, 40 S2000s.

I wanted to come by, but I'm working too hard on THIS stuff.

I think this is unnecessary . With all the aftermarket parts options you can make your car better than this 'CR' version. If honda wants to make something worthwhile they should do major changes not just adding hardtop and putting 20 hp more.
Again, Look at what Honda has accomplished with other Type-R models. This one isn't being called a Type-R and maybe that's because it didn't meet the Type-R requirements for the other Type-R cars, but a car can become much greater than the sum of it's parts.

A stock ITR will blow away a I/H/E/Suspension (well setup)/Caged GS-R. I know because I beat my track GS-R with a stock ITR. On paper my GS-R should have walked the ITR horribly, yet, it didn't. I was driving both so it wasn't a driver difference.

That's what always makes me laugh when these posts come up in the ITR world, Honda does have a clue on how to design and setup a car out of the box if they have the desire to, and I'd trust them a little more since they can do things that aren't easy for a tuner to do (chassis strenghtening, new subframes that are stronger, etc). Yes, you could do a lot of it yourself, but not for the same price....

I just hope the CR gets the Type-R treatment, if it does, I'll buy one in a heartbeat if I can work out the financial side of it.
