I think the deletion of the SoftTop, AC, and new tires were cool, but everything else, ESP. the seats

I was the first to coin "Club Ricer" (I think). So you have to credit me when you type it or say it. Example. Wow you drive a new "Club Ricer" (credits: Fuelrush). I'll be at the dragon so you can shake my hand

I agree. It's going to be a pain for honda to sell this car. They need to rethink quick. The people who would be most interested in this car would be true enthusiast like us. Your average person will not put up with the hardtop only and no ac alone. Only we would have done such a thing as a trade off for performance which this thing doesn't have. NO sell!

Honda come to Wake The Dragon. Jump on your corporate jet and well give you a real focus group! Thats an official challange!

90 lb savings? Couldn't you get most of that in a regular S with race seats? I've never been so disappointed by a special edition. I had higher hopes than a body kit and a coilover coversion. Seems to me you could leave this machine in the dust, likely for less $$, with selected mods to a stock S.

Honda, let me have a crack at it and I'll build a better club-racer
The CR should be your car. Period. Mugen body work and all.

Honda lost my vote years ago...

Help us understand where you are getting this 200 model thing from?
And where are they going to save 200lbs?

Because removing the hardtop is not a weight reduction when you need it for competition.

Why, that would mean Honda had logic in their brains. But you are correct....that should be their focus group. Its not too late either....I am sure Mugen can come up with something fast as they already have the parts. Hell...."Pimp My Ride" could have done a better job.

I am now thoroughly convinced that the Japanese still hold a grudge for us using atomic weapons on them back in WWII.
