Why, that would mean Honda had logic in their brains. But you are correct....that should be their focus group. Its not too late either....I am sure Mugen can come up with something fast as they already have the parts. Hell...."Pimp My Ride" could have done a better job.

I am now thoroughly convinced that the Japanese still hold a grudge for us using atomic weapons on them back in WWII.
Their real focus group should have been at a large S2000 TRACK EVENT, not a driving meet in the mountains, IMO.

But then, the dragon isn't much of a draw for me, not since 2000 or so when it started to get over populated..

The writer was being sarcastic.

Ok let's stop crying, it is what it is. Yes I am dissapointed but also calmed that I don't have to trade mine in. We can make the best out of it because this will be a production car, all the parts will be available from honda. At least I hope so.

List of stuff that may be worth adding to our cars:

- 255 rear tires (already doing that)
- Rear strut tower brace with four mounting points (implies it can be mounted)
(^^^ I want pictures of this asap!)
- Short shifter (this may be an easy, cheap bolt on that everybody should get)
- Fitting tonneau cover (repaint to match but wont work on top of soft top)
- Wing (i don't think anyone will want this but it's oem so another option)
- Gauge cluster (should have the same harness plugs)
- Pump/tire sealant kit (oem option for most of us who ditch the spare anyway)
- Steering rack.

That's exactly what I want to see is the stripped down model. It did mention AC and some other crap was a factory option...

How much is the Ac system wt?
60-lbs I think.

Actually I'd rather people cry. 1) Makes for more fun reading and 2) maybe Honda will listen.. doubtful, but possible.

Yes the parts would be available, but for more or less than aftermarket pieces? That rear strut tower brace may interfere with soft top operation (who knows right now) as well.

We'll just have to wait and see on a lot of this stuff.

This is what happens when the S2000 is thrown into the hands of the American Honda design team who brought you such jaw dropping vehicles as the US Accord and Element

Not seeing this "faux carbon fiber" they were talking about.

Interesting.

Also note the shift knob.

I think they were talking about the radio door with the faux carbon fiber maybe? that's the closest I could come up with, I didn't see it anywhere either..
