They took all the parts that people were adding to the car themselves, threw on a factory tuned suspension and called it a club racer.

To me it seems as though they may have had more plans for this car, but brining them to production was not practical. So this was the middle ground.

Boy, am I blue

I'd be freakin' and out of my mind if I spend 35-40K just to drive something that I could have slapped together in one day for a few hundred bucks!

I believe I just saw that exact same "wing" yesterday glued on a 1985 cornflower blue Hyundai Excel zooming on Sunset Blvd.

I'm sure some of you think that Honda really "hit the mark" with this one. We all have different tastes, however, bad taste is what I don't care for.

I sincerely wish HONDA much success with the CR version, however, I refuse to be one of those "2000 per year WING NUT." I'd be so being seen around one and more so driving it.

Peace

PS (unrelated subject). To those affected by the "pet food" fiasco, I hope your beloved pets survived the nightmare. My rescued sheepdog almost didn't make it. He was hospitalized for 1 week (imagine my vet bills) as they could not control his seizures. Anyhow, he's recovering slowly but definitely doing better. I wish you and your beloved pets good health.

car needs front OE brembos and an adjustible front sway to be truly regarded as a "track" car. screw all this marketing bs. a wing and a lip DONT make an enthusiast car. honda overlooked so many things that could have really made this car something special. first the new civic type-r, now this. i am really losing respect for honda. their next generation of 'sports' cars really need to go back to honda's roots.

I've never been so disappointed about a new car release.

Like others have said, the good part of all of this is that I have no desire to buy it.

90 pounds of weight savings, no additional horsepower and stock ride height?

Well, it looks like it'll be the Ariel Atom for me. I have not seen through all 17 pages of this thread over here at the TALK sticky yet, but no one has stated the price. But it don't matter. The dealers won't move off the sticker which will probably be somewhere around $41K. There is no soft top so, Florida rain days are gonna get you anyway. May as well cruise arond in the Atom if I'm going to get wet and be able to do 0-60 in 2.8 and spank the S in, on, or off the track all day long.
