I'm having the RM intake installed tomorrow (please don't flame me, I know some of you hate this intake), but have lost the instructions. If somebody out there has a copy, could you fax them to my office (410 377-7955) ASAP.

Comptech front and rear strut bars, Spoon X brace, red/black steering wheel, and caliper painting also being done tomorrow. My car will be completely set up by Thanksgiving weekend. I'll post pictures then.

I'm having a blast driving. This is the closest thing to a race car for road use that I can imagine. It has a hard edge that I love, but I now understand why people who want something on the soft side would not like the car. It's not for wimps, that's for sure.

Charlie,

You've saved me! I'm very grateful. Can I give you a new windscreen in return for the favor? If you've already ordered one, it's on me.

For my screen, you need the stock mechanism, for which there's a group buy going on in the Parts Counter section right now. I think it's about $190 or so.

mingster also sells one that does not require the stock mechanism. He's got a group buy for his going as well.

Let me know what you'd like to do.

Will do, Aaron. It should look just like yours (I also have all the RM peices for the engine bay), except that I'm also installing a braided, stainless steel upper radiator hose. In fact, your engine bay was the stimulus for me -- I saw the pictures long ago when I first found the old board.

Rick there has been alot of debate over the RM intake not to fret my friend I have it and have noticed no power loss in fact I have noticed a slightly better throttle response nothing dramatic mind you but none the less it looks great, IMHO of course.......Oh thank you for the gift of the new windscreen that was very kind, I was just helping out a fellow owner with the info. I will shoot you a email with my address

I think I've put in enough miles behind the wheel to make a comparison, including some pretty rough roads. I'll certainly try to be objective.
