Dialing out Tramlining?
For those who don't know, tramlining is when the tires try to follow ruts in the road. When i switched to the 18" rims the car tramlined quite a bit. After making sure i got all the pressures to 34psi, most of the tramlining went away. I want to try to dial out the little that is left but i don't know where to start? Do i want to raise pressure or lower it? Do the rears matter, or just the fronts? By the way the tires are the Kumho 712 225/35 and 255/40 or something like that.

My experience is that the tread design and tread depth are the two main factors. In other vehicles, I've experienced it more with new tires than with worn ones. Haven't had any problems in the S2000 so far on stock S02s.
ok well i have the tires already. I bought them used but they still have decent tread left. I know pressures make a big difference, i just don't know what to change and which way to change it? Anyone?

You should come to Melbourne - we have REAL trams and tramlining is something you can't do anything about - espec. in wet weather, those steel tracks do wonders to your steering. Don't try it on a bike either - it is real dangerous!

ok guys, i know the causes, i realize it can be worse, i've gotten rid of most of it by changing tire pressures. All i want to know is which way should i change my pressures to try to get rid of the rest of it?
