Nah...I was being sarcastic.

I love my Z, and I love the S2000 equally. I always think it's funny when someone says that they "love their S2000/350Z" but that the other one (the one they don't own) is a piece of shit.

Obviously anyone who loves cars can appreciate what both of them have to offer...and they can pick the one that fits their lifestyle more appropriately.
it really depends on the person.
in no way do i think the 350z is a piece of shit.
i just dont like how it feels. drivng, cornering, cruising, whatever.
it just doesnt feel as 'complete' as the s2k

do you really think that you can't get a better deal in the future? You missed a 20k deal now because you are still making car payments now. But, so what? In a few years, I guarentee you can get a 04 for much cheaper. It's call depreciation.

Anyways, I'm gonna differ from you guys' opinion and say that the OP should hold off on any purchase until he has paid off his current loans. Cars like the S2k should be paid with cash because they are toys.

So basically what you are saying is that; for your money...if you compare a 350Z and an S2000, you like the S2000 better.

That is totally valid and understandable...but an opinion none-the-less.

My thing is; in absolute term, anyone who loves one, would most likely love the other. They have a lot in common as cars go...they are both semi-affordable sporty two seaters that offer reasonably good 'bang for the buck'.

So when you compare the two of them side by side, sure they are a lot different. But when you look at the two of them compared to a Chevy Tahoe (etc...) you can see where they would share the same fans.

i agree completely. if the s2000 didn't exist, i'd own a 350z most likely.

I almost bought a 04 S2k tonight for 20K+tax+fee which will be around 22K. The car had 34K miles on it. I thought it was a good deal. I test drove the car and the tranny didn't have the 1-2 notchy feel some have said. I can't really make up my mind. Damn! This is really a tough decision.
