Default Did a TON of maintance today! New Owner

hey guys... bought my s2k about 3 weeks ago and after being on the forum for a while and really understanding my car a bit more, i decided to do a bunch of stuff for peace of mind... so today i..

Replaced front and rear brake pads with OEM pads and grease..

Replaced car filter with K&N drop in

Replaced Oil with Mobil 1 Fully Syn 10w 30.. replaced Oil Filter with OEM.. and replaced OEM washer..

Replaced Cabin/AC air filter OEM

Replaced tranny fuild with OEM fuild and washer

Replaced rear diff fuild with Mobil 1 fully syn 5w 75- i believe (its not in front of me) OEM washer..

Completed S2KI DIY fix wind noise issue with soft top


previously to this in the past 2 weeks i have bathed and waxed it... and also detailed interior leather condition and the whole 9 and also i have installed new speakers and head unit with the modifry adapter wired and sirius s50 radio...

New robbins stayfast with defrost and glass windo to come this wkend...

I just want to get my car in the best condition i can....

With all that said.. i need to replace my clutch/brake fuild... this is the only thing i think i have left off?? are there any DIY threads on this???? i could not figure it out?? and have not found a thread on the site for this issue.. can anyone help???

Also is there anything you can think of that i have left off or that you would do or whatever that i havent thought of??

for the brake fluid and clutch, I would order the "one man bleader kit" from harbor freight, or you can get it at your autoparts store. It is about 6$ and works perfect.

look up billmans gravity brake bleed. thats what i do...mostly cuz im lazy

how does a bleed work?? i dont know how to do this.. or where to drain or how it drains... this fluid looks nasty i would like to replace it... please explain or point me in the right direction or thread... thanks!!

Looks like the car is in good hands.

I would recommend a valve adjustment also. You know you need one if you hear clicking from the valve cover, I think its supposed to be done every 70,000 miles?

I would also replace the timing chain tensioner and OEM spark plugs.

is a valve adjustment really a DIY kinda thing?? and if so where can i read about it?? also any more help on where to go for help on bleeding??

I would only recommend a DIY valve adjustment if you know what your doing or if youve done it before, its not exactly easy but its definately easy to mess up. Just type in 'valve adjustment' in the search box youll find tons of threads.

i only have 66k miles when is that suppose to happen? still trying to find info on bleeding??? diy?
