Default Differences in the Rio's?

Has anyone noticed that on some Rio Yellow S2K's, the area around the winshield is painted black and on others it is painted yellow to match the body of the car. Is this something new for 05??

Thanks for clarifying =)

its not paint. you will actually find it is a black strip of tape.

Some people peel the tape off to reveal the paint, but before you do that, search on the topic, because you do need to get all the gunk off once you remove the tape.

Yeah, it's black tape. Some people peel it off, others think it looks better black. I think in England, they all come without the tape.

<---- just did his windshield tape just now, took driver side front out starting from bottom to top no problem not even a single film of the sticky thing stayed on that side, but once I got to the passenger side all hell broke loose maybe it was because I tried to take it from top to bottom instead? I don't know, well all I do know is that after peeling the tape off it left half of the sticky substance on the windshield and for the past hour I been digging at it with a credit card. Finally done though and I left the middle black tape intact because I think it compliments my carbon fiber hood pretty nicely.....

I heated mine up with a blow dryer before removal and it was painless. A bit of GOO-GONE takes care of any remaining gunk. The frame looks so much better without the tape.
