Default Difficulting shifting into 4th, 6th, and reverse... Problem solved.

For some strange reason the car would shift into these gears inconsitently. More importantly, it required a large amount of "effort" to get into these gears. Fighting the impulse to blame the transmission and begin spouting another round of my usual obsenities, I decided to pull the center console to see if something was wedged in there...

An iteresting side note... The yellow lighter I picked up in Lake Tahoe on a toss from a Texas owner. This was during June on the Reno Drive. If you'd like your lighter back, please let me know.

Frankly, I'm surprised this many articles fit underneath the center console.

When I installed my leather console cover... I didn't find anything in there.

I'm surprised the one hitter didn't break and shatter all over inside. You got lucky.

wow that's pretty crazy.. My question is.. How do you get something wedged down in the center console? I mean, looking at my car there is no really feasible way to get something there with out taking the console off and putting something there.
