Default Dip stick pop out

I know it's an old topic and i did a search but did not found any usefull tips ! ( I tried the dry the rubber seals and hole shitty thing ) and it did not work !
Is it possible that i have cylinder scoring causing a higher compression in the crankcase ?
I don't think so cause my oil level is pretty stable.
It seems that the dip stick pop up more easily since i installed my CAI.
Any suggestion ?

I've never had this dipstick popup thing, even after my CAI was on. I'll soon find out if a S/C will pop it out as some have remarked. Are you sure the top of the dipstick faces the correct way? The widest part should face toward the battery. Also, drying the rubber rings near the top might only cause them to dry and shrink. I just give them a quick wipe each time I check the oil level but I do not spend a lot of time to make sure they are bone dry.
Maybe check to see that your PCV valve is not blocked. Pull it out and shake it. It should rattle. If it doesn't, then it's blocked and you could have slightly higher crankcase pressure.

I have this same problem too. Its annoyed me for a long time, I'd love to find a solution! I've also tried drying it and everything.

Mine pops up every time I drive it. But only to the first o-ring. No oil has ever come out though. It has done this from day 1 of ownership. Everyone else I know with an S this happens to theirs to.

Mine too! I'm thinking about replacing the o rings to see if it fixes it.
