sigh. as much as i hate to say it, i might have to just suck it up and eventually buy one of those gas guzzling SUV behemoths.

still, as long as i keep the S -- i'm guessing that an Odessey or such wouldn't be completely de-masculating. not to mention the cool opportunities for a full in vehicle video and digital surround system...

edit:

PJK, you're a lucky man!

Seriously, of course, I hope everything goes well with the twins -- they can make for a tough delivery.

In our family (2 boys, 5 & 7), we have a Volvo wagon as a people hauler.

Okay, I admit it--one of my "other" vehicles is a T&C!
Seriously though, for those with room in the garage, lotsa stuff and a couple kids, you can't beat having an S and a T&C! While the family hauler is used the vast majority of the time for kid-hauling, it's nice to have the option of using the S for the occasional daycare/preschool drop-off, right? Nice transition back to this thread....

Okay, seems like this thread has gone over every aspect of passenger side airbag disabling, but what about driver's side airbag disabling? My fiancee is about 4'11" and sits with the driver's seat all the way forward. I am afraid that if anything ever happens, she'll be in a world of hurt (literally). We have a '94 Integra GS-R (which is her daily driver), and she occasionally drives the S2000 as well. I know the newer cars have lower-powered airbag systems than the older ('94) models, what do you guys suggest as a solution for getting a kill switch on the driver's airbag for these two cars?

Our other two cars are CRX's, so no concerns about airbags there.

Jim...thanks for the info and for checking on the '04. I guess I'll wait around and when they hit the dealer...go take a look.

One more thing...I was reading the BOM - the dealer left it in my packet and had checked off that all the pieces in the kit were there.

Here is some info:

06715-S2A-A100
Kit, SRS Cut Off System
Passenger side, S2000, 00-03

In the footer it references Calhac Inc of Anaheim CA. I googled the name and found this website: http://world.honda.com/CALHAC/

It looks like they are a Honda sub that makes automotive parts. This may indeed be a genuine Honda part - not from an outside supplier.

Best,
Jim
