I had a bolt-on ITR a few years back...I'll never go back to a FWD "sports car" again.

Weak VTEC engagement on a stock S2000 is usually due to a dirty air intake filter.

Clunk on 1st engagement is due to driver error. Learn how a transmission works and how to properly operate one and you won't have that problem anymore. I recommend the book "Going Faster" for good transmission info. The only reason you're feeling it for the first time in the S is because the S's transmission doesn't use linkage so it exposes your poor habits.

Hey! I resent that remark!

You're right about that movie. I laughed when the dude drives 200+ miles per hour all the way to Las Vegas.

calling a car slow is totally relative. I personally dont think the s2k is S>L>O>W> but some people usually liars call everything "slow" compared to their friend's cousin's brother's sister's roomate's 800HP EVO or whatever. Driving the cars i've driven on the budget im on the s2k isn't slow.
