Do 04+ tail lights fit on 00-01?

Do 04+ tail lights fit on 00-01?
damn. two nights ago my next door neighbor crashed into my parked MY01 s2k. the rear bumper, the rear left fender, and my left tail light all need to be replaced...
(i wish i had pictures)
but i want to put the 04 tail lights in...will they fit? also, anyone kno where i can get 04 tail lights?

Yes...with a dremmel to make some slight modifications (the AP2s are a little bit deeper). There are threads on the board that cover this mod.

hmmm. i searched hardtopguy.com but i couldn't find the taillamps on the website...maybe i'll just have to order them through the dealer...
also, if i were to purchase the 2004 HEADLAMPS and put them on my MY01, would i need to purchase 04 Ingiters,ballasts, and wires (they're an additional $650...)?
