Default MY00 with 04 tail lights

Love the new look of the new 04 tail lights and would like to do the switch on our 2000 if posable.
--Any problems with fit?
--Is it just plug and go or are there problems with the wiring hook up?
Is it a go?
OR
Don't go there.
Had some fun on the mini-VT ride and spent some time following both the old and new tail lights, new lights rule.

And while leading the 04 head lights looked good too. So while we're at it are there any problems with the 04 head light swap?
Same ? as above.

Any help would be great. Thanks!

Taillight I think they fit, but think the bracket is different or so. DOnt' know for sure.
I myself did the 04 headlights on my 02. Only prob you will have is where the HID ballest has to be connect on the bottum of the headlight unit, it wont really fit. There you have to do some custom work. Was easy, your imagination will help you with what to do.
Hope this helps a bit.

Do you have any pics on how you had to modify this?

The tail lights require some hammering and beating within the bucket for the tailights and the mounts are slightly different. If you don't mind taking a hammer to the car and some minor ingeniuty... go for it!

Aren't the new tailights LED? If so are there any electrical mods necessary? (fuses, relays, etc.)

I think there is some issues with the led extra stuff you have to make room for but the wiring itself im not totally sure of.
