Default Do the 2004-2005's have more leg room?

I've not seen the new ones in real life, but at 6'2" I was hoping they would develop a little more leg room in future models than what my '00 had. Does anybody know the answer to the 'more leg room' question? I called my local Honda Delaership (Stirling Honda), and they told me that they have a new '05 on the way and that it should be there next week. Thanks, Kevin

Come on Kevin. As a previous owner you should not be asking this question. How do you envision the car could "develop a little more leg room"? It would basically take a redesign of the entire car . It won't help your knees, but there is a very slight increase in elbow room from the new, more scooped out door panels though...

Oops....My Bad . I picked up an '05 manual today and got the spec's which I hadn't seen before. Shoulder and elbow room are a little more, but leg room is the same. I haven't seen a '04 or '05 in real life yet, and if it happens to be 'Red' when it comes in to the dealership next week ('05 Model), then I may just be an owner again . Later....and carry on, Kevin

Hey, I passed by Longview last Saturday night about 11:15 or so on my way to Astoria to run the "Great Columbia Crossing" Sunday morning. Good luck with the 'O5 .

Thanks Ron..... . I called Stirling Motors again today (Longview), and they told me that they are getting an '05 the first of next week and that it will be Sebring Silver. I called several dealerships within a 60 mile radius of where I live in Longview, and I found a Red one that's coming in between the 18th and 25th of this month. It's probably going to be between Red and Blue for me......but right now I am 75% on the Red. If I do end up buying another one, I will be getting a hard top as well this time...... Kevin

The leg room is still cramped as hell. I like the legroom of the third gen mr2. My cuz has one and i can strech and straighten my whole leg and then some....that shit is comfortable.
