do u guys shift before or after the red lights start to blink?

yeah, it's really too hard to keep an eye on the blink and the road at the same time. with certain gears the rev builds up so fast that on numerous occassions i've bounced off the limiter. no big deal though. i'm really not concerned about it relaibility-wise. as long as you do proper maintanance on your car, it'll continue to drive like a champ...

I didnt know it blinked either! I hit redline once and winced, you mean you guys actually run it in the red for a second or two. I guess I do baby this car....but I only have 850 miles so I guess I shouldnt be running it as hard as a fully broken in engine anyway.

If you really want to know you could get a spoon cluster (if you can find it?) or the STACKSTACKSTACK guage cluster. that is the shit if you are racing.
