If you leave your top down here in CA, there's a good chance you'll see it on the news speeding down the FWY.

If ever I park withthe roof off, it is only when I'm not going to be long (hate for it to rain while I was away). I always keep the ash tray open and nothing in view (amazing what people will do to steal some loose change from a car). I also lock the centre console with my key before I walk away.

same here.

sensors can get annoying though. mine is on the lowest setting. i think i have about 7 settings of sensitivity. even at 1, my car beeps when parked in front of trees cause of the leaves/branches swaying back and forth from the wind. the sensors are extra sensitive when the top is down.

i have the clifford concept 550.

Yep same here only when I have full view like at a food and I can see my car. Parking at the mall is the worst. I'm so paranoid of someone hitting my car breaking in etc. I always park near the police station precinct at our mall just for secuirity but still get nervous.

I would always put my top up..... what it takes about 6 seconds, and you wont have to worry about it. Anways there's always a moron out there that might do something to your interior that you might not find pleasent.... just put it up.

If the top is down, I put the windows UP and lock it when I park. Putting the windows up when it's down and your not around, it best.

If I'm going to be gone for more than 45 minutes, I will put the top up.

If shorter than 45min, I will leave it down with the windows up.

Sure I suppose someone could just jump in and put a big ass shoe print on my trunk but I just feel it is safer that way.
