Default do you ever worry about blowing your engine...

In 1st and 2nd and even 3rd gear i have no regrets about revving right to redline, but in the taller gears like 4th and 5th where it takes a little longer to wind them up to redline do you ever worry about your motor?

I feel nervous sometimes when redlining in 4th gear, almost sounds/feels like my engine is about to blow any second when i approach 9000..lol

I guess its maybe the idea of the motor being in that high rpm range for so long in the taller gears that bothers me a bit..i know its built to withstand the 9000 redline but i still get concerned about it..anybody else feel this way?

Actually redlining to 9000 in higher gears like 4th, 5th and 6th makes me orgasm in my pants. So yes I worry about blowing my load when redlining.

i do to but look at it this way. honda put the limiter there for a reason. if it wasnt safe or stable at that rpm, they would have the redline lower.

yeah this is true, it just sometimes feels like it takes forever to reach redline in 4th and 5th and the motor is just hanging on for dear life!

After riding motorcycles with 16,000+rpm redlines, no. The engine is built to handle it. Now taking my Mustang to 9 grand? It might do it....once.
