well think about it this way... it takes no more than 10 seconds to open an unlocked car, pop the hood and cut the alarm horn. if there is one. then a thief has more than enough time to steal your car. but hey, thats just what i think. you go ahead and leave your car unlocked.

here in germany if you do not lock your car you get a ticket the officer is even nice enough to lock your doors after he puts it on your seat.

The s2000 takes about 4 seconds to break into "locked."

How do they know it's unlocked? Do they go around pulling door handles?

Seems to me that it goes both ways. The classic entry into this car is the slit top. It really isn't that crazy to leave the car unlocked as long as all valubles are removed and seat locks are in place IMO.

I leave it unlock. Thieves just steal anything these days. Don't want to a slashed top.
