With the lame visors we have, I often wear a cap to keep the sun out of my eyes (when we have sun in Seattle).

Just a tennis cap for sun and snug / wind lift resistance in the sun or plus 50 degree cruising; below 50 I bundle up and wear a headband that coversthe back of my neck and ears, down to 35 / 40 degrees...

I never had a hat until I bought the S2000. I notice a lot of people wear hat that own S2000 expect for asian I guess they don't want to mess up there hair.

With long hair wearing a hat is necessary!!

Always keep three different kinds under my seat...

Unfortunately, some hats are willing to fly away at high speeds

I've been hoping to find some other had that provides sun protection for the back of my neck or my ears, but every other hat I've tried has been completely dorky looking.

You could get one of these http://quickbyte.com/Merchant2/merchant.mv...Category_Code=E

Then you could attach the leash clip to the back of the hat then take a key ring and loop it through the bottom of the hat leash loop and one of the holes in the mesh seat wind blocker insert.

~you would never lose your hat then
