Honda lists the 06-07 at 2820 in the brochure so I've always taken it at that. We can't say how much less your car weighs if we haven't weighed any other cars. If we use Hondas weight as a baseline then the difference is eleven pounds. I'm pretty sure Honda isn't estimating what the difference is so by whatever scale Hondas using their isn't twenty pounds difference between them.

I guess what we need is someone to weigh 00, 02 , 04 , 06 and 08 as well as 08CR to really see

the same site the other guy referred says the 07 weighs 2855.
i weighed MY01 and my friends MY07 back to back..

The steering ratio of an AP1 is the same as that of a CR.

You know you sound like an idiot, right?

oh man - gotta raise the BS flag on that one.

There are MANY updates to the CR. It is no doubt the lightest and fastest roadtrack S2k.

If anyone disagrees, simply meet me in your AP1 with CR wheels at Putnam Park on March 22nd and bring someone along to count the minutes I gain on you lap after lap.

seriously people - before you open your mouth and think you know a darn think about the CR - GO DRIVE THE DARN THING - you will quickly realize this is no ordinarialy S2k.

I'm not ditching the AP1 or the AP2 - but I think if anything, the S2K enthusiast should give credit where credit is due. The CR is undisputably the stiffest, lightest, fastest, and most track oriented of all the previous S2K's produced.
A little cocky?....

Honestly, you need to relax. I love the CR and have driven one a few times, it is a great feeling car but I do think you are going overboard...by a lot. Yes, I think Honda did an awesome job on the car, but its all in the little things.
