Maybe we can get some to weigh the CR and see. Seems like everyone has always thought the old S2K was around 2700 LBS. I was surprised as well to find out Honda doesn't list it as much more than the AP2 models

my friend who also went with his bone stock 07 it weighed 2800 exactly.
stop being in denial, 00 - 01`s also have less speakers & plastic window compared to 02-03 models.
not to mention ; comparing the 07 with MY01.. the seats do look heavier(imo) , the 07 has 6 speakers total, traction control, 17"wheels with bigger offsets, glass window...

Well unfortunately looks can be deceiving. I was actually off a pound as the AP1's come in at 2809. Very odd ,but it makes sense Honda has done anything that would add over a hundred pounds to the cars.

btw.. you're right the '08 exhaust is different.. or maybe it could be '06+???
All I know is that my '05 exhaust rear-section looks COMPLETELY different, it uses a ROUND resonation tube before the resonator, instead of the oval one the CR exhaust has on it (pictured on the last page), and also... you're correct, the CR exhaust does not have the u-pipes on the back of the mufflers, as my MY05 has.... hmmm, I believe that statement was correct..
The CR does utilize a different rear exhaust section from the other AP2's... hmm.. I never knew that.. hahaha
