Does the re-limitor kick in when wot shifting
I did a quick search for this, and couldn't find anything.
Suppose you take your car up to 9000 (or 8000 in an AP2) rpms in first gear, you WOT shift into second. Will the ECU stop the revs at 9200 (or whatever it kicks in on the AP2), or do you risk overring your engine if you're not quick enough?

It will stop but you WILL NOT feel it due to the fact that you are not engaged when it happens.
When you re-engage the clutch it will either cause the clutch to slip or drop the revs back down.
