DONT BUY WORK WHEELS!
you got 3 options:
1) buy one rim/tire to replace your cracked rim
2) buy a whole set of rota's to save yourself money
3) cry, then realize later on that you either gotta do option 1 or 2
oh, and one other thing... you might want to rename your post title as "dont buy USED work rims - no warranty!"

Geeeezzzzzzz relax fellas, i think his main point was to share his experience, if you like it and take the advice cool, if not, let him know but don't bash the dude.
I appreciate the OP telling his story to help other people, but it sounds more like a complaint than a way to help others out......that's how I'm taking it.
WORK is in no way, shape, or form responsible for this wheel. The warranty is out and you are a second-hand owner (enough to void many a warranty anyway).
There are any number of reasons as to why this particular spoke cracked. A wheel doesn't have to be bent or show signs of curbing to develop a crack either. Manufacturing defects do occur and no product can ever be flawless.
I think you are making a big deal out of this situation because you truly are shit out of luck. Quit your bitching.

I think the original posters main point was that they originally told them they would help. Then turned around and said that they wouldn't. But, I think most of us agree, that in this instance Work/AKH is in it's full rights to do what they did. The fact is the wheel is out of warranty, move on.
