Standard practice,here;I always overfill my tranny,by 200 -300 mls.just to make sure the pump does'nt get starved on sharp lefthander at high speed.

Chaz I hope I never do that to my wife's car, she wouldn't divorce me, just kill me in my sleep.

Overfilled my first car ('91 subaru legacy sport turbo) with engine oil. Boy did it run bad, but at least it didn't damage it.

some people do that, i personally overfill it a tad, just as you see the juice is stop draining down, i close the plug.

i used to have a tiny bit of gear oil leak
