My spoiler (Granted it's not OEM) is secured solely with double-sided tape and it is on tight!

i think the two holes on the side are easy to drill because of the marks underneath. its just the center holes i'm worried about. anybody else who did the 2 screw/double sided tape combo?
thats how mine has been held on for well over a year now and no problems hear

bump from the dead.

When attatching the rear spoiler, do you affix the 3m tape along the outter edge of the bottom or more towards the middle of the bottom (in the indentation) of the spoiler?

ive seen people with the oem spoiler JUST use 3m double sided tape, and not screwing anything and its been fine. just make sure you get the high strength molding tape. works great

idk lol... 3em tape is really really strong. me and my friends were taking off my friends spoiler and we unbolted everything but the tape
was holding the spoiler with a death grip.

we would lift up and pull but the spoiler would have broke before the tape came off.

so its really strong... if you use 3em tape warm it up a lot and stick it on. (dont stick it on cold, its way way weaker)

I only have tape to hold my veilside. Holds it tight for last 3 years and couple of track days. That thing will be a pain to take off when I switch spoilers.

You'll be fine. As plenty of people said, they have had spoilers using just tape and haven't had problems.
