Is it ok to drag race the s2000 or will there be a problem

 

I did it Friday night , it was a blast.. See the Metro NYC Area forum for a pic and et...

 

I mean if I Drag race s2000 alot will there be a problem

 

If you do anything too much there will be a problem. Just look at the callouses on your hand.

Keep an eye on your inner CV joints and differential; these are the two common failure points in the S2000. If you stay with a stock motor on street tires you'll probably be okay.

 

It is definately not recommeded, but I have raced mine at least a few times a week for over a year now. No problems so far (Knock on Wood) You take your cars' life into your own hands if you do.

I can Drag the mr2 and I want to drag the s2000 and people told me no why is that

 

Maybe because they appreciate the car for what it is, a ROADSTER , not a dragster .

 

the mr2 is a roadster and people drag the hell out of it with no problem.

 

Am I the only one that laughed at that?
