i've been doing "drifting in rain/snow thing" since i got my S three years ago. besides tires going, nothing else has happened to the car. i dont drift on dry pavement because the S just doesnt have enough power, and you'll be likely to break something if you're actually gonna rip on it in dry weather. i would want something like a supra for dry-pavement drifting.

How does the s2k's rear end hold up to the abuse? Just curious . . . It doesn't really do much for me, but my best friend really is (he was stationed in Japan for a while) and does some impressive stuff with his S13.
dear god given your name you are clearly the biggest initial d fan boy on s2ki, lol
go ahead and accept the fact that you are not going to be God Hand
and then go ahead and accept the fact that the s2000 is not set up for drifting, and please dont molest your 07 into a car that is.
I bet you even got a laguna blue one just because its the closest to God Hand's car......

Do a search for the clutch delay valve. As for drifting - it's fun but it's tough with low torque in the rpm band. Try getting some 4.77 gears and it'll give you much more low end grunt.
Every day when I pull out of the parking lot I park at, I position my car facing away from the exit, and spin the car around towards the exit for kicks and giggles

Check out the mods done to the RSR drift car this will give you an idea... the S is made to handle not break loose on you... so you got to do quite a bit to upset the cars natural blanace. Good news it can be done, just not easy.
