Drive the S2000 on the freeway??

Ohio my man, the freeways are how your S2000 breathes. Big chunks of co2 will keep your baby healthy. The car was meant to be driven fast. The mountain roads are nice, the rolling hills are sweet and la-ti-da, and I've done my fair share of carving up the roads near the Pacific Ocean and Stinson Beach (awesome! 
) but I can't open it up like I can on the open freeway. The trick is to find a freeway you enjoy, and let her rip.
I drive 75-100 miles a day on the freeway as my daily commuter; I'm very observant, very aware of all that has been mentioned. So far, after almost 3 months I've got no dings, scuffs or tar after 4,000 miles.

SE Ohio is loaded with hills and twisties. It takes about an hour for me to get to some fantastic sports car roads. Here is an excerpt from my huge MS Word file of trips that I take:
Route 26 between I-70 and Marietta
80 miles one way of roller coaster hills and twisties. Listed in Car and Driver's 100 Best Driving Roads in the U.S. About 2 hours S. of Cleveland and 1.5 hours E. of Columbus

I would be happy to do this. Tomorrow, at lunch, I will scrub out all the personal stuff such as information on where my ancestors are buried and directions to the cemeteries. Sure no one wants to do those trips! Graveyard speed limits are 5 MPH . Give me a day or two and I'll get the file to you. I keep trying new routes, revising routes and making notes about the individual roads, so this file is a work in progress. If you remind me, once in a while, I'll send you the updated version. It will be something you can use to simplify the pain of trying to find good roads and trips. And in the Spring, when the car has been mothballed for 6 months, it sure helps to have this stuff written down to jog the memory. I have a book of Ohio county maps and am constantly looking for new thrill rides. The Portsmouth area is my next area of interest.

Being a daily driver, my car will get chips, plain and simple. Mine goes on the freeway and even over mountain passes with gravel for traction. I would only worry about the freeway if it was a garage queen and that was the worst it was going to be exposed to. I think it just depends on what matters to you.

40 miles everyday on my commute. Today I did catch a piece of rubber from somthing on my left front fender. It kind of looked like a flattened basketball hit it. I was able to swerve enough to make it a glancing blow and it will wipe right off!
