This is a fairly critical point to me...the # 1 concern with MY06 is not VSA or seats or temp gauge...but DBW. That is the one item that can truly change the "feel" of the car...

I hope an 05 Silverstone is still available if DBW ruins the 06's.
I would rather get a used AP2 than getting a MY06 if the throttle response is sacrificed even by a tiny bit - Seats you can change, VSA you can turn off, wheels you can change, but you just can't get rid of the DBW ...

My wife has an 04 TL with the drive by wire. It is not that bad. It does take a little getting use to and does adjust itself to your driving style. I think you are going to see most cars going through this change and it is getting refined each time a different car comes out with it.
