do you know what the TSB # was?

my02 statred having the same problems, just after a couple thousand miles.. i read up on it here and someone suggested you put the window all the way down and then all the way up again using the auto button to go down .. 3 times in a row.. and it would solve it.. well i didn't believe at first.. but i did it and it's been a year now, and nothing since..
so give it a try maybe it'll fix some odd thing..
i was told it was a memory position for the window.. and it restores it or something.. but whatever it was it worked for me..

I have the same problem and I have an '02. I really hate to carry it to a dealer to have it fixed. I just don't trust their 17 y/o grease monkeys they would give that type of job to.

Someone post the fix in this thread so it will be at least posted in there as well.

Mine just did this, and I tried the fix and it lasted a day. I'm not sure if I did it right. I put the window down, then presses the down button and held it until I heard a click, about 10 sec. Then I put it up, then pressed the up button again until I heard a click, about 10 sec.

Mine did the same thing with that reset deal. Once you shut off the car after the fix, it's right back where you started at.

So what are you going to do? From what it sounds, even the TSB's don't fully fix it. I'm sure there is somone on here that has pulled their door apart themselves and cleaned the contact off that is getting corroded. If that's what is causing it, then I might try it.

Anyone have a copy of the TSB that says what is causing this to malfunction which requires a new part to be added?
