Nothing quite like driving top-down at night, with a full moon! It's one of the most amazing feelings I've ever experienced

Next to the engagement ring my wife said yes too, the S is the second best purchase of my life.
Yep, I totally agree. But when I dorve from Phoenix, the trip was great up until about the 12th hour, then it just got down right uncomfortable. By 15 hours, I was so tired I could barely stay awak and I felt as if I were in hell! Still a fun trip though and I'd do it again as long as it wasn't over 12 hours.

Warm moon-lite nights, cool fresh early mornings, and chilly fall days are my three favorite top down times. Once hooked, most are hooked for life - that red Spitfire in my signature was my very first car and I've never been without a rag top since.

Last time I took a trip to Key West (Before-S2000), my flight was delayed 8 hours. We wound up driving down from Miami airport. We rented a convertible Sebring and I graciously let my buds drive while I spread out in the back seat looking at the sky. What a great experience it was driving through the keys under a night sky and watching the sun come up just about the time we reached Key West.

I think it's about time for a full moon drive to Key West....

I did 19 hours from Seattle to Denver last summer; great drive, the S2000 is a great highway car.

I have done the 11 hour Denver to St Louis more times than I care to imagine, and even managed to get 30MPG once ...

Ah yes...the top down Road trip.

Did a few so far this year, all with 500 mile plus days. Mostly on twisty backroads.

Sat I leave for Maine taking the long twisty way through PA, NY, VT, and NH.

The Blue Ridge Parkway in the dark with the top down was real treat. The heavy fog and all the eyes peering back, made it interesteing.
