Get the same tyres you're running at the front. Mixing tyres can work, but it's better to have the same type/model all around.
Agree, replace the rear two but get the same model as the fronts. And remember it will take a few miles to 'break' in the new tires.

Looks like the situation is a bit worse than I expected. Seems like all the tires are in pretty bad shape, the guy showed me all the places where they are cracking and not aligned correctly.

For peace of mind I will replace all 4 tires. My question is regarding size. I have pretty much settled on the Dunlop Direzza Sport Z1 Star Spec after reading all the great reviews from people on here.

Unless anyone has any suggestions for cheaper tires that are good, I don't track the car at all and it's my DD. The Star Spec are a bit expensive.

Is the size that tire rack has the correct size? I'm running the stock wheels.

Front:
215/45ZR17

Rear:
245/40ZR17

Thanks

If you don't track the car or drive it aggressively, Star Specs may be overkill for you. With that said, they ARE great tires. If you are a more casual driver, you can look into the Sumitomo HTR ZIII as well.

You can do either 215/245, 215/255, or 225/255.
