Man, 233.7whp with just I/E and testpipe! I am piss because i just wide band dyno tuning vafc2 on my car yesterday with Intake, rs*r exhaust, comptech tp, and rick's header and i got only 202.4whp safe tuned after 10 runs on a dynojet. My car got to 210.8whp on a third run but the a/f ratio was way off, 4th run downed to 207whp but the a/f ratio is a little better but still off. So after 10 runs i settled for 202.4whp with a perfect a/f ratio that i wanted. Off course if i waited for the engine to cool down a little longer and do another couple more runs i think i could get somewhere 206-208whp with a right a/f ratio. Better be safe than be sorry
What kind of dyno were you on? Also, I forget the specs on the RSR... is it a fairly free-flowing exhaust?

Dynojet. The RS*R EXMAG is a 63mm dual exhaust and it's fairly free flowing exhaust but i think that they are just like the hks where you'll lose horse-power. I am pretty sure that with the T1R 70mmm or any single exhaust i'll put down a fairly nice #.
But just like versionJDM had say...the MUSTANG & DYNOJET are the lowest reading on the dyno than the others, then again, it's all depend on how the set up. and if the dyno shop that you are doing dyno on your car set up correctly and you get 233.7whp out of your car with just I/E and test-pipe.....than you got yourself a bad-ass f22 engine. That means you got extra 30whp out of your car with just I/E and testpipe Damn, make me wanna get the ap2

Even in the Import word...deep down..."No replacement for displacement." seems to be an indisputable truth

Haha, good dyno runs man. That is strong even for AP2.

So maybe this type of dyno typically reads high, but...

Which Invidia exhaust do you have? The newest one is a dual 70mm exhaust and should have some nice gains (although I don't know how you drive it with a test pipe, it's loud as crap!) -- so basically taking into account the other member's stock AP2 that dyno'd at 217whp on thier dyno, you picked up 15whp with the exhaust, TP, and drop-in K&N filter? Awesome!

An actual stock baseline dyno comparison would have been more beneficial.

I agree

What people don't seem to realize (or maybe they do?) is that a dyno number posted by someone means nothing. Every dyno is calibrated different thus making essentially every dyno number in the world useless for comparison. The only way to get into a pissing contest about dyno numbers is if both cars were dynoed on the same dyno.

4 real. I would like to have seen his baseline numbers and then the mods. 233 doesn't mean anything if you you were 230 to begin with. ( IMO )
